BEYOND THE TWELVE CHAPTERS

The seven special chapters, and when each one is read

The special chapters are read after the general chapters, and only when something in them points here. There are seven: Shanti, Diksha, Medicinal, Dashabukthi, Njana Kandam, Prasna Kanda and Aasi Kanda. Almost nobody needs all seven, and we will say so plainly rather than sell you the set.

When the special chapters are read

They come second. The leaf is found from your thumbprint and verified against your own life, then the general chapters are read. A special chapter is opened only when one of those points at it: a karma that keeps repeating, a problem with no ordinary explanation, a question tied to one year, a body that needs looking at.

If nothing points there, nothing is opened. Someone who came to check on a marriage and found a clear answer in chapter 7 may never need a special chapter at all, and that is a normal outcome, not a failed reading.

Two of the seven work differently. Prasna Kanda answers questions you write down in advance. Aasi Kanda answers without any question being raised.

The seven, one by one

Shanti Chapter

The reason for this birth, and the problems you face because of that karma. It says from which birth the karmas follow you, whether you were male or female then, your name and your parents’ names, and your siblings, spouse and children in that birth. The deeds committed then are set out with the way they reflect now, and the pooja and temple visits given to remove them.

Diksha Chapter

For issues caused by people and by planetary conditions, resolved through the pooja the chapter names. The problems created by humans are listed as the jealous eye, the evil eye, black magic effects, direct or indirect enemy problems, and ancestral curses. A specific mantra encrypted in the leaf is explained to you, acting as a shield, with how, when and through whom it is to be taken.

Medicinal Chapter

What the Maharishis wrote about the body: the illness indicated, at what age, and the reason recorded for it. It names the system of treatment shown as suitable, whether allopathy, siddha or ayurveda, with medicinal combinations, the diet to follow, and things to add or avoid. Read alongside your doctor, never instead of one.

Dashabukthi

The positives and negatives ahead, with the immediate remedies recorded against them. This is the chapter for a narrow window of time: guidance for a specific year, month, or even a single day. People who come with one decision and one date usually want this rather than a general reading.

Njana Kandam

Spirituality in detail. How far you travel on the path, what mastering the mind requires, the obstacles, and the solutions toward liberation without rebirth. It covers kundalini chakra activations and their procedures with the age, month, date and hora, through whom support comes, and the details of your spiritual guru.

Prasna Kanda

Your current situations, positive and negative. Questions you write down in advance are answered directly, one by one, with immediate remedies where the leaf records them. People take this chapter before a major decision, because it speaks to the position you are in now.

Aasi Kanda

Answers given without any question being raised. It sets out the reason for the problems and the solutions, and says how, when and where relief comes. Aasi Kanda covers the whole family rather than one person, spiritual and material.

The Medicinal Chapter, and what it is not

The Medicinal Chapter is a record of what the Maharishis wrote about the body: the illness indicated, the age at which it is indicated, and the reason given for it. It names the system of treatment shown as suitable, whether allopathy, siddha or ayurveda, along with the medicinal combinations recorded in the text, the diet to follow, and the things to add to your habits or leave out of them.

We make no claim that a Nadi reading cures, treats or heals any disease. It does not. Nobody should stop a prescribed treatment, delay a test, or refuse a doctor’s advice because of something read out from a leaf.

This chapter is read alongside your doctor, never instead of one. Take what it says about diet, habits and the system of treatment to the person treating you, and let them decide what fits your case.

That is how the chapter is actually read in the room, not a disclaimer bolted onto the end. If you arrive hoping this replaces your treatment, we will tell you no. Read in its proper place it is useful in a quieter way: a diet, a habit to drop, a note on the age at which the body may need attention, all of it for your physician to weigh.

Questions these chapters answer

  • Which karma is following me, from which birth, and who was I then?
  • Which pooja and temple visits are given to remove those karmas?
  • Is a problem caused by the evil eye, black magic effects, an enemy or an ancestral curse?
  • What mantra is encrypted in my leaf, and how, when and through whom is it taken?
  • What did the Maharishis write about my body, the age indicated and the system of treatment shown as suitable?
  • What is ahead in a specific year, month or day, and what immediate remedy is recorded?
  • How far does my spiritual path go, and what stands between me and liberation without rebirth?

How the special chapters relate to the twelve

The twelve general chapters describe a life. The seven special chapters deal with what stands in the way of it, and with questions the general chapters raise but do not close.

Chapter 6, on debts, litigation, enemies and illness, leads most often to Diksha or to the Medicinal Chapter. Chapter 9, on your father and your spiritual path, is the doorway to Njana Kandam. Chapter 12, which settles whether liberation is written in this birth, is where people decide they want Njana Kandam in full.

Prasna and Dashabukthi sit apart from that. They answer about now rather than about the whole life, so people weighing one decision often take a general chapter first for verification, then Prasna.

New to this? How a Nadi reading actually works sets out the thumbprint and verification, and the questions people ask before booking cover the rest.

Nadi readings are a traditional practice. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice, and no outcome is guaranteed. Please continue to follow your doctor.

Questions people ask about the special chapters

Do I need all seven special chapters? +

Almost certainly not. Each one exists for a particular kind of problem, and most people need none of them, or one. If the general chapters have answered what you came to ask, we will tell you so and leave it there. Being sold the full set is a warning sign anywhere.

Can a special chapter be read on its own, without the general chapters? +

The leaf has to be found and verified first, because everything depends on having the right leaf in hand. After that, Prasna Kanda is often taken by people who want one decision addressed rather than a full life reading. Tell us the question and we will say which chapter fits.

Will the Medicinal Chapter cure my illness? +

No, and we will not say otherwise. The chapter records the illness indicated, the age, the reason, the system of treatment shown as suitable, medicinal combinations, the diet and the habits. It is read alongside your doctor and never instead of one. Continue your prescribed treatment and take anything from the chapter to your physician.

Do I have to perform the pooja that is named? +

That is entirely your decision. Shanti and Diksha record the pooja, the temple visits and the mantra as the Maharishis set them down, and we read them out as written. Nobody is pressured into performing anything, and no outcome is guaranteed by performing it.

What is the difference between Prasna Kanda and Aasi Kanda? +

Prasna Kanda answers the questions you bring. Aasi Kanda answers without questions being raised at all, giving the reason for the problems and the solutions, and saying how, when and where relief comes. Aasi Kanda also covers the whole family rather than one person, on both the spiritual and material side.
