CHAPTER 11 OF 12

Chapter 11: elder siblings, a second marriage, and how profit comes

Chapter 11 carries three subjects: your elder siblings and your relationship with them, the second marital life with its age and direction, and the mode through which gains reach you in this birth. It is the only chapter in the bundle that reads a second marriage.

What this chapter covers

It opens with your elder siblings and the relationship between you and them, as the Maharishis recorded it. Families are not always described the way the family describes itself, and this is one of the chapters where that shows.

Then comes the second marital life, and it is read in the same detail the seventh chapter gives the first. The age at which you enter it. The direction the bride or groom comes from. Their characteristics and their behaviour. Scars or black moles on their body.

The chapter also gives the place where you will meet that partner, and whether it will be a love marriage or an arranged one. Your life after the second marriage is described as well, not just the moment of it.

The third subject is profit. The chapter explains the mode through which gains reach you in this birth: through a job, through business, or through luck, which the leaf records as lottery, betting, gambling or a race.

A word on that last group, because it matters. The Maharishis listed those as modes through which gain may come. We read the line and we stop there. Nobody in this room will tell you to place a bet, and no reading should ever be treated as a tip. Money you cannot afford to lose does not belong in a game of chance whatever an old leaf says about luck.

People without an elder brother or sister often ask whether this chapter applies to them at all. It also carries the second marriage and the modes through which gain reaches you, so say when you book whether you want it opened.

Questions this chapter answers

  • What does the leaf say about my elder siblings and my relationship with them?
  • Is a second marital life written for me, and at what age?
  • From which direction will the bride or groom come?
  • What are their characteristics and behaviour, and are scars or black moles recorded?
  • Where will I meet that partner?
  • Will it be a love marriage or an arranged marriage?
  • What does the leaf say about my life after the second marriage?
  • Through which mode do profits reach me in this birth: job, business or luck?

How chapter 11 sits beside the other chapters

The pairing people get wrong most often is this one and chapter 7. The first marriage is read in chapter 7, with the partner, their family and the distance between your homes. The second marital life is read here, and only here. Asking for one does not get you the other.

Siblings are split across the bundle too. Younger brothers and sisters, their lives, and your courage belong to chapter 3. Elder ones are here.

On gains, this chapter names the mode. Chapter 10 handles the working side of it in detail, including business type and the ages for it, and chapter 12 takes the other direction entirely, into expenditure. Read together they give the two halves of the same ledger.

If a marriage is being delayed rather than repeated, start instead with what the leaf addresses when marriage keeps being postponed. For a question about one particular year or decision, the seven special chapters are the closer fit, and how a Nadi reading actually works plus the questions people ask before booking cover the practical side.

Nadi readings are a traditional practice. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice, and no outcome is guaranteed. Please continue to follow your doctor.

Questions people ask about chapter 11

Does reading this chapter mean my first marriage will end? +

No. Chapter 11 describes what is written about a second marital life if one is written. Hearing the chapter does not cause anything and we will not read it as a verdict on your present marriage. People take it for the elder sibling and profit sections alone, and that is a perfectly normal reason to sit for it.

I am already separated. Will it tell me when I will remarry? +

If a second marital life is written for you, the chapter gives the age, the direction the partner comes from, where you meet, whether it is love or arranged, and what your life after it looks like. If it is not written, the chapter says that too. We do not soften either answer.

The leaf mentions lottery and betting. Should I act on that? +

We read the mode of gain the Maharishis recorded and we give no advice beyond that. Nothing in this chapter is a betting tip, a number, or a date to play. Games of chance lose money for most people who play them, and a line in a palm leaf does not change that arithmetic.

Can this chapter describe my elder brother’s own life in detail? +

It reads your elder siblings and the relationship between you and them from your leaf. A full account of his own life, in his own chapters, needs his own thumbprint and his own leaf. Many families do come together for that, and each leaf is searched for separately.

Is the second marriage described as carefully as the first? +

In its own way, yes. You get the age, the direction, the characteristics and behaviour, scars or black moles, the place of meeting, whether it is love or arranged, and the life that follows. Chapter 7 adds things this chapter does not, such as the partner’s parents and the travel between the two homes.
